As summer starts to wind down and we look ahead to fall, I always look at September as being my fresh start. While most of the world likes to celebrate those in January, I personally have always seen autumn as a time for new beginnings. When I was in school, I always remembered getting excited for new school supplies, outfits, and classes, and even now as an almost 25-year-old I have my birthday and fashion week as milestones in September, which always make me excited for the season ahead. If you’re heading into the last few months of this year and are looking for a refresh, now is your chance. It can even start by the simple act of purchasing a new beauty product.

One of the things that I love most about beauty is the conversations I have around it, and I know that we’re all constantly on the lookout for the products that actually work and that make us feel the most like ourselves. The best part is that beauty doesn’t have to be expensive. There are tons of drugstore brands that produce high quality products at an affordable price point. That’s why I’m so excited to be partnering with CVS Beauty to tell you how you can earn money towards future products (who else likes making money while shopping?) and to share some of my favorite products from there that are available in-store and online.

Wet n Wild is such a standout drugstore brand (shout out to beauty YouTuber extraordinaire Allana Davison for getting me hooked!) and if I could only recommend one product from them, I’d suggest the 10-color eye shadow palettes. The colors are amazing and the price can’t be beat. The palette I selected Rosé in the Air is perfect for creating autumn-inspired looks and comes with two transitional shades as well. I also asked you all on my Instagram stories to share your favorite drugstore products and I was excited to try out the CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara as well as the Maybelline Total Temptation Brow Definer pencil based on your recommendations. I used all of the products I just mentioned to help create this beauty look and I hope this gives you some inspiration if you’ve been thinking about adding some new products to your makeup collection.
